It’s all about knowledge because knowledge is power!
Udaan’s New Year Mixer was organized on 17th Jan at Bullion Park Condo. Mixer was well attended and participants got a chance for networking with like minded fellow entrepreneurs. Udaan emphasized on the importance of significant knowledge related to various aspects of business. Udaan is a platform where women entrepreneurs gather to share ideas and exchange knowledge to help fellow entrepreneurs to expand the horizon of their thinking and also to expand their business.
To empower attendees with power of knowledge in field of taxation and registration of companies in Singapore, Udaan organised a talk by MSS Consultancy which is a professional firm providing a comprehensive range of services to establish and manage businesses. Ms Shamala Rajasingham and Ms Mrinal Patvardhan, were the speakers for the talk. They shared the importance, benefits, advantages and disadvantages between Sole proprietorship, Partnership and Private ltd. They also shared about Virtual Offices, various forms to be submitted to IRAS, legalities with ACRA/URA. Q/A session at the end of the the session was helpful in resolving participants queries.
Udaan also highlighted about various events organised in 2011. Participants have shared some great feedback. The next mixer will be in March 2012.
Udaan is looking forward for launch of Singapore’s first online Women Business Directory targeted at home based business and SME’s. Udaan will be promoting women directory throughout Singapore through various mediums. The first 100 registrations will be FREE.
